Co-Founder, Co-Owner, Co-Director:

Charles co-founded Champion Soccer School after graduating Wayland High School in 2002. After co-captaining Wayland High School Boys’ Soccer to their first ever State Championship (2001), he was recruited to play at Brandeis University with teammate Brian Bisceglia-Kane. As a Brandeis outside midfielder, Charles was third on the team in scoring his Junior year and followed that up with a Senior year in which he was an all-league selection along with being a first team selection to ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All Eastern US Team.

After his collegiate playing career was over, Charles focused on coaching. In 2006, Charles coached Wayland High School’s Freshman Boys Soccer Team, and from 2008 through 2024 assisted Coach David Gavron to lead Wayland High School’s Varsity team to tournament births in all but one season, including three State Championships in 2014, 2016, and 2018; and three additional elite 8s in 2011, 2022, and 2024. In 2017, Charles was named the Eastern Mass Soccer Coaches Association High School Assistant Coach of the Year. He is the coach of the Wildcat FC Boys 2016 team, and he has also coached since 2018 in the Wilmington Youth Soccer Association for his kids Grace, Charlie, and Aiden.
