Camp Leader
After attending Champion for many years as a camper, Dan joined the CSS staff after graduating from Wayland in 2012. At Wayland, Dan played soccer for four years and was a member of the Warriors 2011 tournament run to the Division II North Final alongside several other CSS camp leaders. After completing an outstanding career at Wayland, Dan elected to join Americorps’ City Year program where he worked as a volunteer at William Blackstone Elementary School in Boston for a year. There he led an afterschool program for 50 students to help with homework and engage students in activities to develop their teamwork, problem solving, and discover new interests. His experience with City Year has provided him with extensive experience working with elementary aged children.
Dan is now attending Northeastern University and is majoring in entrepreneurship with a minor in computer science. Dan loves working at Champion and his favorite camp game of all time is kids vs. counselors capture the flag.
